Tea-time in Lucca

Back in Lucca after the opera, we had an enjoyable dander through the streets to our restaurant, the town looking just as captivating by night as it did in the daytime.

The floodlit cathedral with its oddly asymmetrical facade
Trattoria "Da Leo"- with an informal ambience
Piazza San Michele - the busy centre of Lucca during the day
Swanky shop window in Via Filungo - the main shopping street
The amphitheatre by night
Amphitheatre next morning, showing Roman walling - our B&B on right
